July 27, 2012 – Tag’s Summerstage, Big Flats, NY

When we were driving in to our hotel in Corning, N.Y., a huge thunderstorm cell was blowing through. I got to my room and watched the wind pick up to about 50 MPH, I could see rotation forming directly overhead, and sure enough, 13 miles down the valley a tornado touched down in Elmira, N.Y. Tore the roofs off 4 structures, caused numerous traffic accidents, and generally tore up the town. Pretty freaky. The next day it was a beautiful evening for the show, and a good time was had by all.
