This new 16 piece group has been formed by native Bay Area musicians and longtime friends John Worley (trumpet/flugelhorn), Rob Sudduth (woodwinds) and Johnnie Bamont (woodwinds). Loco Moco will feature some of the best local jazz musicians that include educators and teachers from the  Bay Area.  “We also wanted to feature a library made up of compositions and arrangements by band members and other SF Bay Area composers and arrangers.”

Members of the Loco Moco Jazz Orchestra have played with an eclectic list of notable artists: Count Basie, Woody Herman, Maynard Ferguson, Ella Fitzgerald, Joe Henderson, Dianne Schurr, Mel Torme, Natalie Cole, Wayne Wallace, Pete and Sheila Escovedo, Jon Jang, Huey Lewis, Boz Scaggs, Tower of Power, Sly Stone, Santana etc.

The Loco Moco Jazz Orchestra will perform its first concert on Sunday, October 30th, 2016 from 4-6pm at the historic Pedro Point Firehouse in Linda Mar Pacifica, CA. General admission tickets will be $20. To purchase tickets early go online to: www.eventbrite.com
